CraZy Hair
Materials:
- Balloon
- Sweater (Optional)
Explanation:
Rubbing a balloon on your hair or on your shift or sweater can produce static electricity. Everything is made up of atoms. Atoms are made up of extraordinarily tiny particles called protons, neutrons, and electrons. The protons and neutrons are in the middle of the atom and the electrons, which are much smaller, zoom around the outside. Protons have a positive electric charge, and neutrons have no charge at all. The fibers on a sweater and the rubber balloon are normally neutral having the same number of protons and electrons. I'm a paragraph.
Tape Attraction
ASK FOR PARENT/GUARDIAN WHEN DEALING WITH SHARP MATERIALS
When the scotch tape pieces are pulled apart, they become charged. The top and bottom pieces are opposite charges (positive and negative, or negative and positive) from each other which is why they attract.

-Clear Tape
-Permanent Marker
-Scissors
Balloon Speaker
Materials:
- Standard Balloon
-Scissors
Explanation:
When you blow into a balloon, you are pushing air molecules into the balloon. They are forced into a small area, so they are very close together. These circumstances allow the air molecules to carry the sound waves better. This is why you can hear the tapping so easily. It is as if you built a speaker.
